Maruya Shinmeisha

Maruyama Shinmeisha is a Shinto shrine located in Maruyama-cho, Chikusa Ward, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. Also known simply as Maruyama Shrine, it enshrines Amaterasu, the sun goddess. It historically held the rank of village shrine (sonsha). The shrine has long served as a center of local faith, where residents prayed for abundant harvests and household safety under the blessing of Amaterasu.
