History
Izumo Taisha Tokyo Bunshi was established by receiving a branch spirit from Izumo Taisha in Shimane Prefecture. Situated in the heart of Roppongi, it enshrines the same Ōkuninushi no Kami as the main shrine. Amid the bustle of the city, it is a precious place where one can feel the warm divine power of the Izumo deity. Many people visit seeking the blessing of auspicious union and receive the deity's protection. To receive the blessings of Izumo Taisha while in Tokyo is truly a fortunate thing.
