The Hikawa Jinja enshrined in Numabukuro, Nakano, has been affectionately regarded as the local tutelary shrine. Enshrining Susanoo no Mikoto as its principal deity, it has long protected this area. Though situated within a residential neighborhood, the grounds are enveloped in serenity and serve as a place of peace for the local people. Over the years, parishioners have visited daily, praying for the safety and happiness of their families—truly a shrine rooted in the community.
