Sozenji is a Soto Zen temple in Higashiyodogawa Ward, Osaka. Its mountain name is Ryounzan, and its principal image is Shakyamuni Buddha. The temple is also known for housing the grave mound of the shogun Ashikaga Yoshinori, preserving a significant piece of Muromachi history. The quiet Zen atmosphere calms the mind and invites reflection. As a training hall for zazen practice rooted in Soto Zen teachings, its spiritual heritage continues to be passed down today.
