Standing in Shimoookubo of Kanuma, Ōashi Jinja is a shrine that bends like reeds yet stands firm-rooted. Reeds sway in the wind but do not break, remain unrotted even in water. To grant worshippers such flexibility combined with resilience is the divine work of this shrine.
