Kinpozan Jinja is a mountain faith shrine enshrined on Mount Kinpo in Kawachi-machi, Nishi Ward, Kumamoto City. Mount Kinpo has long been revered as a sacred peak overlooking the Kumamoto cityscape, and the mountain itself has been worshipped as the divine body. As the mountain god, it brings the blessings of nature and is cherished by local people as a protective deity watching over Kumamoto from the high peaks.
