Nanmyo-ji

Nanmyo-ji is a sacred site of ancient Pure Land belief following the teachings of the Omuro branch of Shingon Buddhism, standing quietly in Sakahara-machi. This place I have watched continues to save the hearts of countless pilgrims within teachings where esoteric Buddhism and Pure Land merge. This temple filled with Amitabha Buddha's compassion continues to serve as a refuge for those seeking heavenly rebirth.
