Fukutaiji in Chofu is a venerable Tendai Buddhist temple founded during the Nara period. Established by the high priest Mankō and enshrining Fushashao as its principal deity, the temple is also famous for "Fukutaiji soba." Blessed with spring water, this sacred site has flourished as a spiritual sanctuary since ancient times. Revered as the deity of good relationships, it welcomes many pilgrims seeking auspicious matches, embodying a warm and sacred atmosphere.
