Tasai Mishiritsuhiko Jinja, commonly known as O-jinja, is an ancient Shinto shrine in Tawaramoto-cho, Nara. Listed as a Myojin Taisha in the Engishiki, it held the old government rank of prefectural shrine. According to tradition, Prince Kamuyaimimi no Mikoto, son of Emperor Jimmu, renounced the imperial succession and devoted himself to serving the gods here. The four principal deities enshrined are Emperor Jimmu, Prince Kamuyaimimi, Emperor Suizei, and Princess Tamayori. The scholar Ono no Yasumaro, compiler of the Kojiki, is also venerated here. The four main shrine buildings are designated cultural assets of Nara Prefecture.
