History
Shingan-ji is a Jodo Buddhist temple in Tennoji, Osaka, with the mountain name Sanadayama. Its principal image is Amida Buddha, and the temple crest bears the same six-coin design as the Sanada clan. The temple is closely associated with the Sanada family and is revered as a memorial site for Sanada Nobushige, the celebrated warrior who fell at the Summer Siege of Osaka in 1615.
