History

Byakko

Kamimeguro Hikawa Jinja is an ancient and venerable shrine situated along the banks of the Meguro River. It was established through the bestowal of kami from Musashi Province's premier shrine, Hikawa Jinja, and has continued to watch over this land ever since. Since the Edo period, it has been cherished as a spiritual pillar for the people of the Ohashi village. Through the divine virtues of Susanoo no Mikoto, it has been deeply revered as a shrine of miraculous efficacy in warding off epidemic disease and calamities. Even in modern times, as the tutelary kami of the community, it continues to receive countless worshippers praying for the peace and prosperity of residents.

246沿いの鳥居をくぐり、持病があるためゆっくりゆっくり階段を上がりました。 ご褒美にとてもキレイな花手水が見れました。 社務所に黒柴がいました。
