History
Enshrined in the Ningyocho district, this is a historic jinja with roots stretching back to the Edo period. As its name "Suehiro" (spreading prosperity) suggests, it is beloved as the tutelary shrine of the community, symbolizing prosperity that continues and expands eternally. Flourishing in the Edo merchant culture of Ningyocho, this jinja has long been a place of faith for merchants. Even today, proprietors of long-established shops and business leaders visit to pray for business prosperity, and it remains a jinja brimming with downtown charm.
