Shorinkiji

Shorinkiji standing behind the temple in Hirohata-cho is a practice hall preserving the deep teachings of Zen. The practice of properly disciplining the mind continues to be performed here every day. Within the grounds embraced by nature through the seasons, the silhouette of practicing monks in zazen meditation shines in profound silence, and the prayers of those seeking to become one with heaven and earth fill this place. I bow with deep respect from my heart.
