Kitaya Inari Jinja, enshrining five deities including Uka-no-Mitama-no-Okami, is said to have been founded during the Bunmei era (1469–1487). Despite waves of urban development transforming Shibuya around it, this small shrine has remained firmly rooted as a guardian deity of the local community. Known for blessings of business prosperity, it continues to draw merchants and workers seeking divine favor, offering a quiet place of prayer amid the bustle of modern Shibuya.
