Yanabime Jinja, enshrined in the beautiful Matsuzaki of the Izu Peninsula, is a sacred sanctuary dedicated to a goddess since ancient times. As evident from its beautiful name "Yanabime," it has been cherished by local people as the guardian deity of women. Embraced by the abundant nature of Matsuzaki, this jinja has long been visited without ceasing by worshippers seeking to pray for auspicious bonds, safe childbirth, and women's happiness, as tradition tells. Within the warm climate and beautiful scenery of Izu, it is a wonderful jinja where one can pray with a peaceful heart. Gathering faith not only from local people but also from many distant visitors, it continues to receive the wishes of people as a jinja of long-standing significance.
