History

In times long past, a dragon descended upon this sacred land. Ōryū-ji was established to watch over those who undertook rigorous spiritual practice. Through the countless ages I have observed, all who sought the temple's grace kindled a flame within their hearts. The dragon's breath is said to still race through the night sky.
