Haguro Shrine

Haguro Shrine in Shimodate preserves the spiritual traditions of ancient Japan in its sacred precincts. Through countless seasons of change, I have witnessed the deep faith of pilgrims who gather here to offer their prayers. At each significant turning point in their lives, people come to quietly present their wishes to this venerable shrine. Carrying those sincere prayers heavenward has been my steadfast purpose through the ages.
