History
Hanabata Oowashi Jinja is cherished as the tutelary shrine of the Hanabata area in Adachi Ward. It enshrines Yamato Takeru no Mikoto as its principal deity and is revered as a kami of good fortune and prosperous commerce. Known affectionately as "Otori-sama," it belongs to the lineage of shrines famous for the Tori no Ichi festival and has a distinguished history. Dating back to the Edo period, this shrine has watched over the development of agriculture and commerce in the region. Today, it continues to be cherished as a place of daily prayer for residents and an important site for worship at life's milestones. The grounds maintain a quiet and serene atmosphere, providing a sacred space for heartfelt prayer.

境内に駐車場30台あります。酉の市と正月三が日は神社前が車両通行止めになり境内駐車場は使用不可です。臨時駐車場（樫の木公園南側・ベルクス隣接）からのシャトルバスが運行されます。
酉の市は夕方〜夜に参拝者が集中します。混雑を避けるなら午前中の参拝がおすすめです。二の酉が日曜に当たる年は特に混雑が予想されます。
最寄りは東武伊勢崎線「谷塚駅」またはつくばエクスプレス「六町駅」です。六町駅からバスで「大鷲神社入口」バス停下車・徒歩3〜4分が最短ルートです。
