Hanabata Oowashi Jinja is cherished as the tutelary shrine of the Hanabata area in Adachi Ward. It enshrines Yamato Takeru no Mikoto as its principal deity and is revered as a kami of good fortune and prosperous commerce. Known affectionately as "Otori-sama," it belongs to the lineage of shrines famous for the Tori no Ichi festival and has a distinguished history. Dating back to the Edo period, this shrine has watched over the development of agriculture and commerce in the region. Today, it continues to be cherished as a place of daily prayer for residents and an important site for worship at life's milestones. The grounds maintain a quiet and serene atmosphere, providing a sacred space for heartfelt prayer.
