History
Enfu-ji is an ancient temple located near Dogo Hot Spring, cherished as the guardian deity of the hot spring area. This temple, standing in Dogo, Japan's oldest hot spring, is said to have been founded with the wish to provide healing to the body and spirit of those visiting for hot spring treatments. Alongside the blessings of the hot spring, it has developed as a place where many people pray for healing from illness and longevity in health.
