Amabiki Chisho Shrine

This shrine honoring the rain-pulling deity has been a cherished object of farmers' faith since ancient times. When I visited, I witnessed the earnest prayers of many farmers seeking water, moved by the depth of their wishes. Prayers for blessed rain from heaven are never arrogant but filled with gratitude for nature. Even the torii gates of this shrine have received thousands of prayers.
