History
Karuwariji temple in Inazawa's Sofu region honors filial piety and the sacred parent-child bond. Based on the legend of a youth carrying bundled grass to support his mother, the temple teaches virtues of gratitude and duty. Its Karuwa Kannon represents compassionate devotion.
