Shofukuji

Shofukuji standing in Noda-cho, Kariya, is an ancient temple that has preserved the teachings of Pure Land Buddhism. In the silence of Nishiyashiki, the voices of people chanting nembutsu echo, and centuries of prayers have taken root in this land. The compassion of Amitabha Buddha embraces the hearts of those who come to pray here and brings true peace. I watch over these prayers from a corner of this temple.
