Soga Jinja is a venerable shrine dedicated to Susanoo no Mikoto. Susanoo no Mikoto is known as a valiant deity who defeated the Yamata no Orochi, and is revered for blessings of evil prevention and protection from calamities. This shrine, situated in Omitama, has long served as a source of spiritual support for the people of the region. The grounds are enveloped in tranquility, and visitors find their hearts cleansed. Through festivals passed down since ancient times, the bonds of the community are deepened, and gratitude toward the deity is perpetuated. This deity guides people to protect themselves from calamities and walk through life with a pure heart.
