History
Allow me, dear visitor, to introduce the serene Akishinodera Temple in ancient Nara's embrace. Founded by the esteemed monk Zenju during the Hoki period under Emperor Konin's imperial decree, this distinguished temple maintains deep ties with the imperial family, especially the Akishino House. The temple's crown jewel is the graceful Gigeiten statue, whose divine blessings wonderfully enhance one's mastery of dance, music, and all artistic endeavors. For those suffering from leg and back ailments, the compassionate Jizo Bodhisattva provides gentle healing. The enchanting moss garden transforms beautifully through each season, offering profound tranquility to all who visit. In this sacred sanctuary where time flows peacefully, I have faithfully observed countless heartfelt prayers. Come experience this restorative haven, collect your precious Goshuin, and create lasting memories in this blessed place.
