Minamikura-in

Nanzoin, formally Daikyozan Nanzoin, is a Shingon Buzan temple in Takada, Toshima Ward, Tokyo, enshrining Yakushi Nyorai as its principal image. The temple once served as the betto-ji (administrator temple) of the neighboring Takada Inari Shrine and was affectionately known as Takada no Inari. Stone monuments from the Edo period remain in the precinct, including a Koshin-to designated as a tangible cultural property of Toshima Ward and a finely carved Hokyointo, bearing witness to the devout faith of past generations.
