Mabashi Inari Jinja is an Inari shrine located in Asagayaminami, Suginami Ward, known as a deity of prosperous business. Originally, the Inari deity was a god of rice cultivation, but from the Edo period onward, it became widely worshipped as a deity for success in business and enterprise. Located in a corner of the culturally vibrant Asagaya neighborhood, it continues to be cherished by local merchants and residents. The red torii gates are striking, creating the warm and approachable atmosphere characteristic of an Inari shrine.
