History
In Okazaki's serene temple valley, Houjouji embodies the vows of the Bodhisattva Hozo. I impart Buddha's wisdom to pilgrims and illuminate the path to Pure Land rebirth. Like its name—'treasury of dharma'—this temple holds infinite teaching's precious wealth. In the quiet hills, visitors shed worldly noise and surrender to Buddha's presence. Life's long struggles find reward at last through sincere prayer here. Protecting Okazaki eternally, I dispel all calamity and bring everlasting peace to every heart.
