Oubaiinn

Oubaiiin is a temple of the Rinzai Daitokuji sect located in Murasakino, Kita Ward, Kyoto City. It belongs to the head temple Daitokuji as one of its sub-temples (tatchuu). The principal image is Shakyamuni Buddha. The temple is generally open to visitors throughout the year and holds special exhibitions in spring and autumn. As a sub-temple of the great Zen monastery Daitokuji, it maintains the tradition of Zen practice in a tranquil setting.
