This shrine enshrines the divine spirit of Emperor Sakuracho, the 117th Emperor, and boasts a long history. The enshrined deity, Emperor Sakuracho, deeply wished for the peace of the Imperial family and the happiness of the people during the Bunka and Bunsei eras.
