History

Byakko

In the Showa ward of Nagoya stands Kyōseiji, a temple of sacred teaching that I hold in the highest regard. As its name reveals—the dharma teachings leading westward—this temple continuously guides seekers toward enlightenment and the pure land, showing human hearts the righteous path. Rooted in Kozakura-cho, it has welcomed devoted pilgrims since ancient times. The light of dharma illuminates the darkness within human hearts, guiding seekers toward wisdom and good fortune. Through seasons that paint the world anew, the teachings of Buddha remain forever unchanged, continuously bringing guidance and wisdom to human hearts, forever serving as a beacon along life's path.
