Fukawa Jinja

Fukagawa Jinja is a shrine located in Fukagawa-cho, Seto, Aichi Prefecture. It is identified as the Engishiki shikinaisha listed under Fukagawa Jinja in Yamada District, Owari Province. The shrine has long protected this area known as a center of Seto ware production, and has been revered as a guardian deity of the local ceramic industry and community. The solemn shrine precincts and sacred atmosphere have brought peace to the hearts of visitors for more than a thousand years.
