Domyoji Tenman-gu is an auspicious shrine of Tenmangu that enshrines Sugawara no Michizane, the deity of learning. Michizane has deep connections to this place and is particularly known for its blessings of academic success. It is also famous for its beautiful plum blossoms; in spring, the temple grounds transform into a magnificent sight tinged with pale crimson hues.
