Daikokuji

Daikokuji Temple in Habikino, Osaka, is traditionally regarded as the birthplace of Daikoku worship in Japan. A Soto Zen temple, it has long drawn devotees seeking the blessings of Daikoku-ten, the deity of fortune and abundance. Merchants and farmers alike have offered prayers here, believing in the deity's efficacy for prosperity and good harvest. As the reputed origin of Daikoku faith, the temple continues to welcome pilgrims to this day.
