History

Byakko

Humon-ji, enshrined in Kanayama-cho of Kumano, is a sacred place filled with the compassion of Kannon Bodhisattva. When I visited, those suffering from illness quietly joined their hands in prayer within its dignified halls. Continuing to save the hearts of those who have overcome countless hardships, its light of compassion still shines brilliantly today.
