Rengeain Tanjoji Okunoiin is a sacred site of the Shingon sect located in Tsukiji, Tamaana-shi. It is regarded as one of the birthplaces of Kobo Daishi Kukai and serves as an important spiritual place of Shingon esoteric Buddhism, drawing pilgrims from throughout the nation.
