Kuehiko Jinja is enshrined in Miwa, Sakurai City, and is beloved as a shrine dedicated to the deity of learning. Kuebiko no Kami appears in the Kojiki and is the god of wisdom, said to be unable to walk but possessing knowledge of all things under heaven. Befitting MIwa's status as a sacred place of learning, it has long gathered the faith of scholars and students. This deity is also known as the god of information, and even in modern times, examination students and researchers visit to seek knowledge and wisdom. In the quiet mountainous grounds, those praying for academic success never cease to visit.
