History
Heigumi Zuki Jinja is a Shikinaisha enshrined in Heguri-cho, known as a shrine connected to the ancient powerful clan Kii. This venerable ancient shrine is recorded in the Engi Shiki Jinmei-cho and has been revered as the clan deity of the Kii family who ruled this region. Surrounded by the rich nature of Heguri, the sacred grounds are enveloped in a solemn atmosphere that speaks to ancient history.
