History

Byakko

Isehara Daijingu is a shrine of venerable origins that received a divided spirit from the Ise Jingu. It enshrines Amaterasu Ōmikami and was established so that local people could pay their respects in place of a pilgrimage to Ise. Beloved as "O-Ise-sama," it serves as a spiritual pillar for the community as a shrine dedicated to praying for the blessings of the sun and the stability of the imperial household. The solemn rituals conducted in its purified precincts cleanse the hearts of worshippers and bestow new vitality.
