Tateyama Shrine

This shrine honoring the deity of Tateyama rising in Hitachi has gathered the faith of those engaged in mining since ancient times. When I visited, I witnessed many miners praying for their families' safety, and their steadfast wishes touched my heart. Deep within the mountains, many face danger yet draw strength from faith in this shrine's protection. Though eras change, the depth of their faith remains unchanged.
