Rokudai-in Temple

Since its founding in the Nara period, this temple has served for centuries as a place of rigorous Buddhist practice. Its name Rokudai-in derives from the transmission of six refined esoteric teachings that have been passed down through generations. Standing in the Tennoji district, it maintains spiritual quietude while bringing Buddha's wisdom to the hearts of pilgrims.
