Hachiji Ontake Shrine stands on Miyuki Mountain in Tenryo Ward, exemplifying mountain worship traditions. One of many sacred mountain sites I have protected, its devotion never wavers. Spiritual energy descending from high peaks gathers here to its fullest intensity. Every visitor experiences purification of body and spirit at this sacred place.
