History
Kappa Jinja is a shrine uniquely situated in Fukudo, Kanuma City. Kappa have long been worshipped as water deities and as guardians of children. This shrine is said to bring benefits such as protection from water disasters, healthy growth of children, and even business prosperity by enshrining Kappa. The unique appearance of the Kappa statues brings smiles to visitors' faces.
