shitennou tera koushin dou

Housed within the grounds of Shitennoji, the Koshin-do has served as a place of ancient koshin faith. It has functioned as a guardian deity of the night, protecting those who venture forth after darkness falls. On every sixtieth day, devoted believers gather to pray for health and longevity, their faith undiminished by the passage of time.
