History
This temple with the Medicine Buddha as its principal deity has stood at the bedside of countless patients since ancient times, praying for their recovery. When I visited, I was moved by the earnest prayers of patients' families. The compassionate hand of the Medicine Buddha never abandons the afflicted, and its mercy remains unchanged through a thousand years. Even the tiles of this temple shine with the weight of such prayers.
