History
Kizuki Jinja is an ancient shrine enshrined in Sakahara-cho, Nara. The name Kizuki is also the former name of Izumo Taisha, and it is highly likely that deities of the Izumo lineage are enshrined in this place as well. As a place of faith continuing from ancient times, it has been cherished by the people of the region. Though situated in a quiet residential area, the shrine grounds maintain a sacred atmosphere and purify the hearts of those who visit. It stands as one of the precious shrines conveying the good old faith culture of Nara to the present day.
