Hozo-ji

This temple in Hanyu-machi, Jousou transmits the compassion of the Dharma Treasury Bodhisattva and serves as a quiet training ground preserving ancient teachings. When I visited, I felt the vast wishes of the Dharma Treasury Bodhisattva filling the light streaming into the main hall. Even those in great suffering find themselves embraced by this bodhisattva's saving hand when they come to this place. Though eras change, that light of salvation never extinguishes and continues to guide all who visit.
