History
This shrine honoring the Sashino deity in Someya, Ishioka has been revered as an ancient guardian of the land by generations of farmers. When I visited, I felt how this shrine's ancient power connects directly to the land's bounty. The abundance sleeping within the earth also awakens through this shrine's power. With each passing season, many farmers visit this shrine to offer thanks and prayers.
