Junisho Shrine

This shrine in the ancient village of Daigo enshrines the twelve deities who protect the twelve seasons. The sacred energy that guards the year's passage flows through the lives of the people. Amid the changing seasons and unchanging devotion, deep faith in the kami and Buddha lives and breathes. I sense the meeting of time and eternity in this place.
