History
Suwa Jinja in Nishi-Nippori enshrines a divided spirit from the Suwa Ōsha of Shinshū as the guardian deity of the local community. It has been enshrined in this location since the Edo period, continuing to wish for the peace and prosperity of its residents. Suwa's deity is known as a god of courage and decisive action, providing steadfast support during life's important moments and times of difficulty.
