Shioya Jinja

Shioya Jinja, as an ancient shrine drawing forth the blessings of the sea, continues watching over merchants. Salt production, trade, and sea labor have all flourished under this deity's protection. Ha, throughout the ages I have witnessed people's efforts and joy crystallized in white salt. The sea at Takashima still quietly bestows its blessings, and commerce here continues to flourish.
